Kindergarten Teacher

Hello, my name is Shelly King and I am a Kindergarten teacher at OIS.  I was born and raised in Belcourt.  Prior to my teaching career, I was a stay home mother and small daycare owner.  I graduated in 2003 with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  A few years later I completed my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education  from UND.  A big thank you to my mother Eunice for instilling a love of learning and demonstrating what a degree can achieve.  I have been teaching for 20 years and I still love working with young children and teaching Kindergarten!
