Welcome to Ojibwa Indian School Support Services.  Because no two students learn quite the same way, Ojibwa Indian School Student Support Services offer the tools and resources to help students succeed.  Student Support Services include special education teachers, gifted and talented teachers, and guidance counselors.  For more information on either of these programs call 477-3108.

special education

All students receiving special education services have been determined by an Individual Education Planning Committee Team meeting (IEP) to have one or more handicapping conditions.  An Individualized Education Program (IEP) describes the educational program that has been designed to meet that child's unique needs.  Each child who receives special education and related services must have an IEP.  The IEP creates an opportunity for teachers, parents, school administrators, related services personnel, and students (when age appropriate to work together to improve educational results for children with disabilities.
